This is the name of pottery produced in
Mashiko Town, Moka City, Motegi Town, and Ichikai Town in
Haga County, Tochigi Prefecture.

During the Taisho era, Hamada Shoji brought folk crafts to the area,
and Mashiko became known as “the town of folk crafts.”

I’m looking for a pair of Hamada Shoji glasses made by Matsue’s friend.
I still regret not buying them.
I was stupid young and didn’t have much money.
